ClassMates.com School Confusion.
The user created ClassMates listing for Venice SKILL CENTER High School in Venice, has created a lot of confusion because
most people think of VHS as being in Venice. If you search ClassMates for High Schools in Venice, that is the one that pops up, and as a result
some Venice High Alumni are listed there.
However, probably due to it's mailing address, the real Venice High School on ClassMates.com is listed
under Los Angeles, and as of 8/8/2004 over 8100 VHS Alumni are listed there.
If you are in the Venice Skill Center High School list on ClassMates.com you may want to consider changing your listing to the
"real" Venice High School (in Los Angeles).
The
easiest way to change your listing is to print this email first, and then:
Click here to go to http://www.classmates.com
Click on the [Schools] tab (if it is not already selected)
Then click [My Schools]
Then to the right of Venice Skill Center High School click [EDIT]
Then on the Edit School information page, go down to where it says:
"Did you sign up for the wrong school? and click [CHANGE SCHOOL]
Then simply select these in order:
[United States]
[California] (select state)
[L] (select first letter of city)
[Los Angeles] (select city)
[V] (select first letter of school)
[Venice High School] (select school)
